Be VERY Careful here.
There are 2 versions, both now in HD - the original mix and the 2005 remix.
You need to check what you think you are buying as I suspect that in HighResDownloads site there is a typo here.
https://www.highresaudio.com/en/album/view/hrc9fu/david-bowie-david-live-remastered
states it has been available since November last year, when in reality only the original version was previously available as part of the box set at
https://www.highresaudio.com/en/album/view/g9nnbr/david-bowie-who-can-i-be-now-1974-1976-remaster

Please note the different tracklist - the original version has 17 tracks against 21 on the remixed version.

You have to be really careful with online unit shifters as they often copy/paste information. The 2005 remix is released today at the site mentioned (I am waiting for the link to appear as I write this)
and given the price difference, the HighResDownloads offering is the original mix - so please be careful.

EDIT.
I am told by customer support that the version linked is indeed the 2005 remix, 2016 remaster version and the tracklisting is correct.
So still - watch where you buy. HighResDownloads.com are often the cheapest by a long way. They are selling the same record for £13.20 against £17.99 from the official store, where I got gouged.

Thanks for the www.highresaudio.com link Davesolar. Site looks quite interesting. David Live for £14.50. I shall purchase that later today.

I see some albums are available in MQA. Haven't actually heard anything in MQA and I don't have any MQA compatible hardware but it is supposed to be very good.

Somebody once told me something similar about DAT.

I'm in the UK and managed to access that site and download the free sampler. It was a bit hit and miss this afternoon. Second time I tried to access the site it said it was down while they did maintenance. Next time I was able to get in but it took ages. Now I'm getting a Gateway Time Out message.

Perhaps they are overloaded by Bowie fans! Try again in the morning.

I can't seem to get it off the actual official davidbowie.comn website.
They charge way more than the others, and all I have is "pending" for my download even though they took my money on 18 January.
The contact us section is useless - I have now sent in 5 "please email me" requests, and starting to lose my patience with the site managers (anybody know who runs the current website?) because they simply do not answer any emails - so they have my £17, I still do not have the mix.

@Davesolar - is it the same mix as on the 2005 EMI DVD-A disc? (cos I already have that one in stereo & surround)

I have exactly the same issue! Mine's changed to completed now, but the download link just says invalid URL scheme when I click it!

Not sure if this is of any use to you. I got a reply from them pretty quickly about an order for No Plan I wanted to amend.

You may be right, I fear it is the 2005 Remaster, same as the DVD-A Stereo Mix, but there's one difference, this HighResAudio Mix is in 24bit/96kHz, the DVD-A was in 24/48 - and the songs are slightly differing in time....but may be...

The HighResAudio download of "Who Can I Be Now? (1974 - 1976) Remaster" has allways
"(2016 Remastered Version)" written to the song titles, "David Live 2005 Mix Remaster" does not show this "(2016 Remastered Version)".....may be its the old one, I don't know, sorry.

I just mailed to HighResAudio for an answer of Your question, I'll tell You what they say.

@neilwilkes - and all others here:

I just got my re-mail.
HighResAudio say it is the 2005 mix, remastered in 2016.
So it is different to the DVD-A.

I wonder why the 2005 remix is only 96/24 but the original 'David Live' is 192/24. You would have thought that they would be the same. Also, I notice that the box set HD versions are all 192/24 but the stand alone 'Blackstar' & 'Next Day E.P.' are also only (!) 96/24. It doesn't make sense to me.

I think Your 'I wonder why' can only be answered by the record company, as You see on the site :

http://davidbowie.parlophonestore.co.uk/de/music.html

this are the formats they give to us, why did they do it so?? Who knows?

The 2005 mix mastered for CD originally, and the original mix mastered from analog source?
Have read somewhere that someone thought that the remastered original mix in HD had really big
improvements.
Have listened to both on LP some time ago and the original mix was the one i will go back to later.
