Yeah I got all 4 but I was out very early as day before I checked with the shop to see what quantities of each they had. They had plenty of no plan & placebo but only 2 of cracked actor & 2 of bowpromo.

Rather than ebay check Discogs..... prices are a alot better than ebay

I got the three solo ones, just missed the last Placebo one.

Talking of which, the sleevenotes on BOWPROMO state that the original tapes were lost so it has been mastered from a superior analogue source. I wonder if that source is the very one available on this site?

The record used for the Bowie promo is not the same as we have here, as I recall, but it was taken from another record, I think one that just had the Bowie side. But would have been pressed from the same stampers as the one we have here, so it is needle drop, I think there is some good info on Illustrated db if you look there. This is all jut from memory  :D

I got the promo and Cracked Actor, I am about to unpack them now, but have to go to a birthday, so tomorrow I will enjoy them.

Well I could not help listening to the Bowie promo before leaving in a bit.
I have a question to others that bought it. Do you also have some noise cracks manly in the right channel during Eight Line Poem and on Kooks? I'll try cleaning it tomorrow, not the easiest record to return if its just my copy that ha a problem.

hay i just wanted to say Hay.

Havent been an active bowie collector in many years.
Bought 2 rsd's today the bowpromo and no plan. (the other 2 where gonne at 9 in the morning)

Love the blue white vinyl. the bowpromo (well i nearly bought the bootleg lp) So glad to get that one.
The box looks like notting special but it has nice wrapping inside and photos and an amazingly nice written note..

Love it!

anyway this got me back into collecting.. Love this place need to figure out how it works.

Hopefully i can add some (older stuff) to it.

Anyway great to be here!

The new Visconti mix is very close to the mix of the familiar bootlegs.  Only the sound is more detailed and clearer, which makes it a 'calmer' listen. The overall atmosphere has been maintained.  All The Young Dudes is complete here. I would say the new mix is definitely an improvement.

I have located the LA74 & BoPromo LPs, No Plan is on order from Bowienet (As was).
I have no turntable, vinyl embargo broken, I just wanted to have them as artifacts, already on wall etc! I'm really looking forward to hearing the new TV 'masters' mix of LA74 from someone's needle-drop at 24/96, anyone? Shame no digital download codes in either LP, although I guess it/they will appear as a CD later in the year.

No Plan, Placebo thing and...

BowPromo : only one copy in my town of about 100 000 souls for two "RSD" record shops, so I'm very lucky !

But no Cracked Actor at all !

Besides, I've got one copy (only 2 available here) of Iggy Post Pop Depression live.

Got all i wanted. 3 Bowie, Placebo and Springsteen Hammersmith 75 and and an orange coloured bag. Checked a few times from midday on 2 of swedens well known record stores online. Around 14.30 Bowpromo and No Plan blueclearmaxi was secured.
In the evening about 20.00 Cracked Actor suddenly popped up and clicked "buy" at the second one.
Later in the evening the whole RSD catalog was for sale online (what was left anyway)and I got Bruce and Placebo too.
