I don't know how our engineer hooked it up but when I worked at a radio station we had a computer set up in the production studio. All audio from any source was routed through the mixing board and into our editing software. With the right know how and an inexpensive home mixer you could probably do it.

Confused by what you mean? Do you want to download the EP? There are a few clients which allow you to download directly from spotify that I'm aware of.
