Hi all

Can anyone point me in the direction of the best versions of the following songs? Ideally on this site.

Rupert The Riley
Trying To Get To Heaven
Tired Of My Life
How Lucky You Are (Miss Peculiar)
Mother
Imagine

I have copies but there seems to be better sounding versions on Youtube - which surely must have been sourced from bootlegs. I hate taking mp3 copies from Youtube and there must be lossless versions somewhere arent there?

Any help appreciated.

Weirdly as good as all the versions on EMI Masters are, I still think the Youtube one I found for How Lucky You Are (Miss Peculiar) is better.

The vocals are much clearer and to the front. That may not have been the original intention but I prefer it.

I wonder where that came from unless someone has done some 'remastering'.....

are we talking about the "version" that NorthernPorkChop upped to youtube March 10,2016 ?
"He" clearly labels it as MONO REMASTER and under comments "I've done my best efforts
to remaster it."

Perhaps there was a STEREO version you heard, with a different "studio vocal mix" ?

Thats the one.......I should have read the comments more carefully!

It does say remastered (and its a good job in my opinion) though I cant see where it says only from mono.

There is also a really good Silver CD set called "The Trident Tapes" that has the EMI Tape content included on it and the whole disc is one of the better of the recent batch of discs.
