I don't have the 5.1 mix  of Young Americans, but I know that Win and Across The Universe is longer with no fade out.
But what about the song Young Americans? Is there a longer version with no fade out on that too?
I have this YA which is 5:28 long and with no fade out!
I've never read anywhere about a longer YA with no fade out.
The song is with vocals, backing vocals, and drums and bass "only".
You can hear the rest very low in the background.
I've heard other 5.1 mixes(or whatever they are) from Ziggy and Station To Station with vocals and guitar only, and vocals bass and drums only etc
But I've never heard this YA. Does anyone know where it comes from?
It doesn't sound fake either.(Like copied and added something elsewhere from the song)
Especially the end "I want the Young American" is nowhere else. And it is Bowie's voice.

I don't know if can upload just the end, from where the original fades out?

The one in Rock Band has one with no fade out and a possible complete ending as evident here. Taking out the count-in, I say the timing is accurate as you described so this is probably the same version as the one you have.

Seem its from Rockband (program for wii platform) - and there are indeed some additional vocals at the end and no fade out.

Dont know about it being 5.1 though.

Yep, that's the same ending as mine. Only mine is "without" guitars and sax.

Hmm, strange that this hasn't been picked up before, On illustrated-db-discography etc.

Easy answer. Anything from Rock Band and Guitar Hero has exclusive versions of not just Bowie tracks but anything else whether it's full-length or different edits. A good example is Helter Skelter in Beatles: Rock Band which doesn't include the fake fade-outs/fade-ins like the album version did.

What about the live version from the TVC 1990 - Tokyo Dome - 16-05-1990 Concert, no fade out on that one and that's 06.19 mins long. With the Break down and cry extention at about 04.20 mins. Great stuff.
