But any flac files available of these EP's are surely just the original mp3s converted to flac, therefore still lossy.

Trader's Little Helper confirms them as lossless. As far as I know Qobuz doesn't  upscale mp3 to flac.

No-brainer to me  :D

If any of the digital EPs had been re-issued in FLAC I think we would have known by now. They were available for download as MP3 since 2007, surely B-Net would have made a grand announcement that lossless files were available by now.

I've had them for a while now, have no hesitation in saying these are lossless. but if you feel they're just, mp3 then i bow to your superior knowledge and say that Qobuz and 7Digital are liars.

I concur with Ljohnfoxx, just received a copy from a friend who got it from Qobuz and TLH says that they are 99% CDDA where as the ones I downloaded from iTunes back in the day come out as 95% MPEG.

I will be replacing my bumTunes ones with copies from Qobuz.
