Just for the sake of discussion on a wet saturday afternoon .....

At the time of writing this (2nd June 2018) I see that there has been no new torrents added to the tracker since 15th May, and none of the torrents listed on the home page of the site are by Bowie.

Has the well dried up? - For a while we were getting some fantastic 'remasters' of older 'previously released' live shows. Learm, Mr Goody, and a few others were doing some excellent stuff with old tapes.

Most evenings I'd log-in here to find out what was going on. And more often than not, be blown away by a show which someone had 'fixed up' and turned into a gem.

Are we at a point now where most decent stuff has been found and shared here?

Just a point to hopefully start a discussion on the forum (even that is pretty quiet recently).

Sadly most will take and never share back, which is the point of this site to take and if you can share what you have back to the site.

The years are passing and it's still the same group of a very small amount of members willing to share.

Maybe there are not more to share, simple as that. And for me thats is the case, i uploaded everything i had on the the Mindwarp site, and some of it has been up here in remasters and better versions, and i dont have more to upload, but i also wonder if there are more rare material surfaced, we know  of roumors about more rare unheard studio material, but will it ever been shared, i doubt it, and some may only be rumors.

Of course there's new stuff out there - but it doesn't appear by magic.  As bofinken says, the stuff to readily share is probably mostly here, but there's sure to be more.

Pete Smith had a mate back in the days, who had a tape he played in the car.  Hanley 73.  A regular on this site has tracked down some bas***d 78 concerts by hard work and chasing obscure leads.  Remember three or four years back when those October 74 tapes appeared?

They're there, but in some cases, the owners may not even realise that they're sitting on gold (well, silver if it's a bashed-up Ziggy concert!).

Will run a check on what I've got lying around, see what's there  ;) .  Had a hard-drive fail at the turn of the year, however, so struggling a bit at the mo...

You are right Steve, I'm in contact with a guy who has recorded some 87 shows and has stored the recordings in boxes over the years. He has promised to digitize them now but it looks this will take some time. Hope to get them in the near future

Frankfurt would be great, a friend of mine was there and made photos but no recording. Ludwigshafen 76 was definitely cancelled (I know it, I live only 10 km away from the venue)

i'd like to see some more raw versions of the shows only on the tracker as remasters. the 1978 06 30 Earls Court recording HunkyGeordie used for example. i sadly can't contribute anything. i wish i could.
