Hi guys, you know a place or list where a chronology of Bowie recordings is indicated.

For example, a site like this that was made for Bob Dylan

http://www.bjorner.com/still.htm

or a list with all the outtakes and variations on the tracks about mix or other.

So far the best information I have found on dbillustrated but it's all very chaotic and organized by tracks

Thanks to all.

:)

That's Impossible, even the best books like Complete David Bowie got a lot of mistakes and wrong informations

The description of the book seems very similar to the song chapter in Pegg's book. I don't think - given the quality of source material - it's possible to do this any better than what Pegg already has done

Hi Stefano

The best site that I have found for completeness is davidbowieworld.  It has a very comprehensive listing of tracks with variations on albums as well as bootlegs etc.

Link here:  http://www.davidbowieworld.nl/

If you want to spend some money then I have got 2 reference books that cover the chronology of Bowie up to 2015.  The 1st one is by the magazine Uncut and is titled Bowie - The Ultimate Music Guide.  This inludes all studio and live albums released.

Available on ebay at:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=+Bowie+The+Ultimate+Music+Guide&_sacat=0&_sop=15

The 2nd book is Bowie - Album by Album which again only covers the chronology up to and including The Next Day but only covers the studio albums.

Available on Amazon at:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/David-Bowie-Album-Paolo-Hewitt/dp/1780978340/ref=sr_1_1? keywords=bowie+album+by+album&qid=1574693664&sr=8-1)

Hope this helps.

Craig

Thanks Craig i know that site.

Great site but when i read this review:

http://www.davidbowieworld.nl/mijn-bootlegs-2-2/outtakes-promo/attachment/david-bowie-low-sessions/

full of fakes..
I changed my mind a little and must use it very carefully. :warn

in fact read the comment on discogs:

https://www.discogs.com/David-Bowie-Low-Sessions/release/8889735.

a site so well made should check before writing that disc is full of "low" outtakes. 8o
