A quick query for anyone that bought this empty slipcase - how was it packaged ?

I have visions of an empty cardboard box arriving completely mashed through the post.

Thought I'd ask as they appear to be available again tomorrow.

Thanks.

I got one from the Dig store before Christmas when it was up for about 5 minutes.  Both it and the vinyl box were well packaged in a much tougher box.

Nothing at all available here.
I've already had a good whine about this at the forums on the official site and will be filing a formal complaint with Parlophone too - I fully intend to guilt them up over this fiasco big time.
I missed the slipcases first time around, but when I read that more would become available did not worry about it - I managed to acquire all 6 of both the vinyl & the CD, even though BLA5 vinyl is still to arrive as it is coming via Rhino. It will get here eventually so all is well.

Not so much the Slipcases though. First time I tried to buy these was from Rhino, who took the order but refunded the money a month later with no explanation so I missed out first time around.
Dig did not have these anywhere to be seen on Friday at 5.01pm when I got my CD/Vinyl order in (after sitting there since 9am), followed closely by a second order for a CD for another member here who was in transit at the time it all went live. Then I got a text telling me slipcases were on Dig now, so off I went, found one of each & went to checkout only to get the payment refusal because of IP Verification - why? I had not ordered slipcases at all yet.

SO my order for slipcases was knocked back either because of site algorithms, or because stock ran out whilst I was in checkout. Both are equally possible. However, this is not the point.
The first question I have to ask is 'Did the number of slipcases manufactured equal the number of physical copies pressed?' I suspect not given the statement on the official website that 'more would be made available' which implies they underestimated how many of these releases would end up in complete sets, probably making just 1,000 available first run.
Next question is then 'How many were made available at the second run?' and again I have to think not enough, otherwise of enough were made to cover the numbers of physical copies then just who bought all the slipcases, as I have seen post after post on the Facebook collectors group of people unable to get either the content or the cases for both BLA5 & BLA6 - and again I have to ask 'who bought all these?' and I always come back to the same answer - scalpers.

I seriously doubt the label has done more than cover costs with this series, when all is said & done so I now have to ask 'why was it done in the first place?' Isn't the job of a record label to limit a release to the amount they think they can actually sell as opposed to these nonstop 'blink & you have missed it' limited editions all the damned time?

Mine just arrived  :) .  Just a Jiffy bag, but there was a cardboard box inside the slipcase, which seemed to do the job.  It's a fairly solid thing as well.

Ordered CD box from Rhino and got confirmation email with payment taken on 19 March. On 31 March received an email which said due to a 'technical error' Rhino had 'oversold' so I wont be getting a box. So what's brilliant about these Brilliant Live Adventures releases?

I managed to get a box at about the fourth attempt and after hours of frustration trying to get items into the checkout but now with a disc missing from the set, it's fairly pointless.

Seems that you will be in luck - despite the initially stated 'strictly limited', it now seems that there will be more pressings done - another kick in the face for those who believed the 'limited edition' statement & paid over the odds to complete their sets. I was lucky, and managed to get in on all 6 during the 'blink & you missed it' release windows but this is not the point.
How will anyone be able to believe anything that the label people ever say again?
