I really couldn't say since I have culled all of the poor quality recordings from my collection. When I first started collecting file sharing was new and I kept everything because just to have anything was exciting. After many years however it occurred to me there were shows that I never opened anymore so they are now all gone.

Thankfully I missed that one (unless it is a soundcheck recording) as my 1987 rehearsal stuff is all from New York. Still, Glass Spider is not Bowie's finest tour, if we are going to carry on with brutal honesty.

You have to give credit to the tapers who turned up for days to capture these rehearsals and did so for years.

Not the best listen but I still have them on HDDs and some tapes.

most 1972-1973 tapes are terrible....i don't think there's a single decent tape of the QUicksand/Free Festival/Life On Mars medley available (maybe one will surface, but the odds aren't good, esp. at this point).

as for terrible performances:

1974 09 08 (pretty nice sound, but the band is sloppy and David is drunk and in bad vocal shape, what people who only read about David Live think it sounds like, 09 07 is only a little better, stick with Cracked Actor or San Diego)
1983 09 04 (the band is fine, Jean Genie with Ronson rules, but David is drunk)

A show i wasn't too impressed with, but that isn't outright terrible is the Long Beach 73 show taped by Jon Wizardo, good sound, but i think David was exhausted.

Wow. I'm normally suspicious of many processed tapes (though I do a little 'processing' myself admittedly) .... but that is good. At least on the full Moonage Daydream sample I just listened to. Found I had already grabbed it, will have to listen to this in full properly.
