In 2003, the anniversary release of the album A.Sane was announced with A Lad in Vein(zion) as a bonus track, but after that, the song was vetoed and never released.

This probably ensures that the instrumental on the bootlegs is the same version that's in the vaults and isn't called Tragic Moments.

It seems like we are all getting to the desperation stage now to find that obscurred track. Lost in the annuls of time. The missing links to David Bowie. We are all getting older and strive to search for the almost impossible and I for one am getting exasperated with the lack of unfound material. It's getting rarer and rarer. Time passes on, missing, lost or new material evades us all.
Such is our fascination with the timeless music of Bowie, which stretches far across the world and across the universe. We cannot win so if anyone does come across a rare oddity please, please share it with me. I am getting low, I need a hero.

You summed up the feeling of collectors who have been waiting at least 35 years to hear something we've read about and know exists.

I'm still fascinated by Bowie and his studio work from the 70s.
