An inane / minor observation, but does anyone feel Bowie made his live version of Modern Love in 2004 sound a bit like The Strokes? Think of say, Last Night.

I never got into them much, I like a couple of songs, that's it. I'm a wary of the hype person. Saw them at a festival though, and they performed in front of a flowing white curtain I seem to recall, which was very well done (their performance was ok too, but the stage 'set' / background is what I remember more now.
