Noticed these song titles, which I do not recognise:

Angel Tension
Balled
Burn
Gypsy Tongue
La La Gypsy Tongue
On The Game
Who
Young
Young Man
Young Love


Angel Tension: Angel Angel Grubby Face?

Balled: misspelling of ballad? And might be rock n roll suicide (from its position in the lists near the end?)

Burn: Slow Burn? He went back to his early songs recording Toy and Heathen.

Gypsy Tongue: syllable cadence might be a song similar to Lady Stardust?

On The Game. Is this an early version of It's No Game, which of course was previously Tired Of My Life?

Who:  a Who cover? I Can't Explain?

Young Man : All The Young Dudes?



All my speculation. I suspect people here know exactly what these were!?

nice one.  I should have googled that (doh!) I did not know Bowie covered it, or recorded it, or even thought of including it in either the Ziggy album or tour set. I wonder if it exists?

Of course, these songs exist as demos or alternate takes and may be released in some form many years from now.
No artist releases everything from their archives and the Ziggy box set still brings unique things.

I was told this by someone who heard these things before the release
you have to understand that Balled is an embryonic version and Bowie did this his whole career recycling songs

Is it from this lyric:

The lyric does "sound" stylistically similar to the slower tracks on Diamond Dogs (Sweet Thing, Rock n Roll With Me).Not the  music of course; so it could well be written well before YA.
