I’m an old lady who listened to Hunky Dory at college in Germany, but my relationship with Bowie was only sporadic until about 2008, when my husband decided to watch The Man Who Fell To Earth. He got into my head and never left. He stuck around when my husband died, and I have no words for how I admire the way he conducted the apotheosis of his career.
Since we have the internet now, I’ve found the fandom there, and my phone contains several prizes from the late, lamented MWP.
I never saw him play, but my sister (who did - with Nine-Inch Nails) made a special trip to Brooklyn this summer to see “Is”...my handle refers to how long we actually spent in there. Except for the headphones, it was probably as close as one can get to a Canterbury pilgrimage.
Anyway, I go on. Happy to be here. Are there drinks?

welcome you will find everything you need here the people who donate the incredible content to this holy grail defies all expectations I have obtained material I wish was available when I was in my teens (circa 1975) it just is simply fantastic. this is my first post i felt compelled to salute all contributors you need to keep this alive we all have our own reasons for how we connect to bowies music

hi steve boy not sure about the g&t however, was looking the other night what is your take on pinups 2
is this available? iv'e seen artwork for said item but the track listing seems lacking ? any ideas where they can be found ?
