Could anyone teach me what Mr.Bowie precisely said, just before the start of "Changes"
---introducing the band members etc.---, and "TVC15" on "Live Nassau Coliseum '76" album ?

EDIT↓
I meant that all of what Mr.Bowie said before "Changes" and "TVC15".

Before TVC15 Bowie says  '' In a class of ordinance''  This is a love song  etc   ..  you can clearly hear the letter D in ordinance.

Before Changes Bowie says ''My singing band of musicians''  I'd like to introduce them to you.

Really?

I always thought it was something like "when it comes to romance" ...

Just to be padantic and as I had nowt to do for five minutes, here you go....

Before Changes:

"My esteemed band of musicains...And I'd like to introduce them to you...
A fellow Englishman on keyboards... Mr. Tony Kaye.
Ah, three gentlemen from New York. On guitar.. Carlos Alomar. On drums.. Dennis Davis, On Bass guitar .. George Murray.
A Canadian, but a guitarist none the less.. Stacey Haydon.. Wearing a red shirt!
My name's David Bowie...And this is called 'Changes', Hi."

Before TVC15:

"When it comes to romance, this is a love story between a girl and her television set, it's called TVC15."

I always thought he said "My swinging band of musicians..." Esteemed makes sense, but I still hear "swinging" when I listen.

Good luck with auto-transcript actually getting it right!
All it is any good for is getting started, as with all singing it is hopeless (although often unintentionally seriously funny too). Better on interviews though

I guess its all down to each of us having our own personal accent, this affects our ears to make us think we all hear what we hear, albeit differently.

I have a Highland Accent which you could call soft and gentle and I still think it is ''My singing band of musicians''

sorry, you are absolutely wrong (not to mention that your interpretation makes no sense- he wasn't introducing a singing band!)

he DOES say, 100%  sure of this,

"My esteemed band of musicians, I'd like to introduce them to you"

and

"When it comes to romance, this is a love story between a girl and her television set, it's called TVC one - five"

If you think Bowie's accent might be why you are hearing it incorrectly, then listen to it on youtube at 25% speed (which gets rid of the accent and makes each syllable clearer).  (I also have a London accent, so that might make it easier for me to understand Bowie's voice when is he a bit muffled or speaking quickly)

It could also be the way you hear sounds, as an example the laurel/yanny audio illusion! This is down to cultural and linguistic preferences (what word is more common to you, if esteemed is not in your common vocabulary, you are less likely to hear it and instead swap it for another word you do commonly use, like singing or swinging.), and age (what frequencies you can hear - young people are likely to hear it correctly)

my ex girlfiend (from the south of England) could hardly understand a word my Glaswegian father used to say. Especially when he used to -regularly - use Scots words.

She's just sit there nodding saying "yes" then afterwards ask me what the hell he was going on about!

On a similar subject, can anyone remind me what Bowie really said on the bootleg version of the LA 5th Sept show (I think the announcement was left off the official version), when he seems to say -

"Now you're going to see elephants!"

Someone did decipher it before and their interpretation made sense.

However part of me loves it that it sounds so much like 'now you're going to see elephants!', and it appeals to my love of (some of) the silly and surreal :)

What song is being introduced, please? I can't be arsed going through the whole show....lazy sod that I am!

One of the issues with YT is that they often get the pitch & speed cocked up too.
Something starts life at 24fps, gets retranscoded to 25 and everything is then off-pitch.
This even happens with official videos too - check out how s l o w the audio is on the Mick Rock film of 'Life On Mars?' - it's so slow it's just not funny!
