Yeah that’s Dick Cavett you’re thinking of, which of course was also released on that 2007 special edition of Young Americans. With the nature of Dinah! being a daytime talk show and all I’m sure it’s never been released to home video, and honestly that there wouldn’t be much demand for that except for people like us who just want the Bowie footage.

Now I discovered on here yesterday that ‘Stages: In Words and Music’ DVD which I downloaded; some extremely brief but considerably better quality excerpts of “Stay” in there which I might be able to plug in. But with that said, does anyone here possibly know of any other documentaries or programs that also used that footage which might prove better quality as well?

there is a huge demand for everything Bowie
and a best of the telly [volume 1 etc] is a no brainer
if the superest quality could be found etc
has he ever sung on other telly shows = like this Dinah one
people will wanna hear them

Demand for weird tv Bowie performances in a low technical standard like the Dinah show. I'd love to have it. And so would (most of) you guys probably.
But a demand outside of this forum? Probably not

there's a Super Deluxe [everything and the kitchen sink - mix wise] of Marc Almond's Tenement Symphony
just released
Bryan Ferry's label has bunged a demo & instrumentals 2nd & 3rd cd disc [and vinyl !] as a BUY ME! for a new 'new version' of Mamouna
it has a new cover too
A 'David on The Telly' disc might have more legs than 'ye think.
i don't know who designs these things but you do need a table and clean hands for the divine symmetry set

you are both absolutely correct on this issue.

RE Professormouse's points - it is true that both serious collectors and some members of the public will happily buy a 'set/box of the lot' for a favourite album / artist, and while the performance of Stay on tv didn't set my world on fire when I last saw it, having it in decent quality from a Bowie period where there is little official live filmed footage, it would be welcome as part of some future release.

but
the YA medley [on her DVD] has some tunes edited out
or 'truncated' to 03.43

where do u buy
