Hi all!

My apologies for not having introduced myself earlier, I've not had time to sit and browse the forums until now. :)

I'm 43, Norwegian, raised in Surrey, Paris, Florida and Norway, and my music interest was shaped by miming along to ABBA at my grandparent's house (in Norway) and being next-door neighbours to a house frequented by Fleetwood Mac (in England, 79-82). My first cassette was Changes One, first LP I bought was Transformer. Moved to Norway loving Bowie, Depeche Mode (which caused massive amounts of bullying cos they were all gay), ABBA (girlypop, yuck) and VU (who no-one had ever heard of).

Grew up collecting Bowie, VU and Reed. Have always loved the re-invention he always managed and although my memory has never really been "all that", I can describe - in detail - where I was when I first heard Heart's filthy lesson. Mind-blown.

Never completely fell out of love, more like a solid friendship that's always been there - but sometimes one spends a few years out of touch.

Anyways, that's me I guess. Nice meeting you all!

Thanks all!

Yes, we are well-known for our modesty. Unfortunately I was quickly nicknamed "trouble" and "the mad viking" with I studied in Canterbury, and am now used by friends and foes alike to ask the ugly questions that no-one wants to say out loud.

So we're three Norwegians? Sounds good! And happy to meet you all.
