Well, although I would find them interesting, I won't put myself in debt trying to get together a few thou to buy them off a member of the 'inner circle' :)

I agree fully & totally.
It's not exactly one of my favourite songs either - if anything it would be in the top 10 worst, but that's just me.

Re ATYD, again I agree. Bowie's vocal is not as good as Ian Hunters, but that may be simply because the Mott version is the one I know best and heard first so kinda got used to it's arrangement (Ronno really was a genius).

BTW - Steve, would it be permissible to put together a torrent upload of all the various versions of ATYD? I suspect not, but it's worth asking

I'm not in a mad hurry to hear all the however many versions there are or aren't.
But to start calling them
(Vocal Take 1 / Mix One) (Previously unreleased version)
It does sounds like someone has counted them all up.
And that one is being used as a feeble BUY ME extra on another reissue of the Decca LP
on green or black vinyl and a CD
= ie one extra track ?

i found another 'Bowie Hunter Vocal'
that is a different length/take to mixed-together [?] version....'s
