Enoweb makes mention of the 1. Outside Sessions in their latest post;  http://www.enoweb.co.uk/enews.html

I suppose Brian Eno still has all the hours of stuff they recorded and that it will see the light of day at some point. I'd love to hear it. Some of it anyway.

Thanks Davesolar, I've already got the "Leon Suites".

"Leon", (as "1. Outside" was then known), was to be a triple CD but that was rejected by the record company. Bowie went back to the studio and re-edited / re-recorded some tracks and wrote some new ones. The re-edited version was released as "1. Outside".

It was intended that other parts of the "Leon" recordings would be officially released but to date they haven't been.

In a web-chat in late 1999 Bowie said he and Eno had recorded “over 24 hours of material. Problem is finding the time to sift through.”

Elsewhere Bowie has stated that there is 27 hours of unreleased "Leon" material. Interestingly, both Bowie and Eno considered "1. Outside", which runs to 75 minutes, to be overly lengthy.

Leon Suites are awesome, listen to them when cleaning my apartment sometimes haha.

If Eno took the entire, unedited, "Leon" recordings and applied his generative music magic to them we could have a never ending stream of Bowie weirdness. Imagine how much cleaning Panopticon would get through!

Hahahaha! Genius!

I did just buy a new pair of really nice headphones (they turned me into an audiophile sorta  8o ) so they're used constantly for Bowie.
