Hey there! Just a quick question, because I'm so ridiculously impatient. Just wondering if anyone was able to rip/record these two preview tracks we got with that Berlin celebration playlist live video on Facebook yesterday. I didn't have a chance as I was at work at the time and of course the video has been pulled from the page by now. Thanks in advance! xxtyler

Hey tony -
I too was working and unavailable to listen. I really am not sure I want to dish out $100+ for the box set containing one of my fav Bowie albums, 'LODGER' s remix by VISCONTI.  I read the remix of FANTASTIC VOYAGE brought a big grin to BOWIE when T.V. played the opening tom fill. Bowie gave the go-ahead to finish remixing the album.
Are you going to buy it ? It's one of my favorite periods for BOWIE. Anybody have any pros and cons to this set ??

Have to agree, the Lodger Tony Visconti mix is great, love it and probably worth the money for the boxset.

Love Tony's new mix - very clear and so many new things to listen out for! David's voice is much higher in the mix and clearer. It took me a long time to get to like Lodger as an album partly because I thought it was quite muggy (like Aladdin Sane), now I'm spoiled for choice. Highly recommended if you were on the fence about buying the box.

The TV mix, in my opinion, is wonderful.

A couple of other things about the set;

Space Oddity (1979 version) is now in Stereo, as per the original single, as opposed to the very narrow, almost mono mix that were on the Ryko SM and the SO 40th EP.

Fashion is the correct single edit, not the horribly re-chopped version on NHC.
