Right OK.... now it's my turn to put my ten penneth in. Contentious my findings maybe but it really irritates the sh1t out of me when people make statements that are a bit dodgy or have no evidence to back them up.
After analysing and reading the results I think both sets of arguments maybe correct, I obtained the said copy from a mate, bought from Quobuz and ran the tracks through three individual programs, Audio Checker,Lossless Audiochecker and Traders Little Helper..... here's the results. I would err on the side of caution as the first program is very old but more sensitive to MPEG based files.
In my mind I would say that I believe...........I shall keep my thoughts to myself , let you decide.
