I am using Qbittorrent v4.4.3.1 (64-bit) and every time I open a new torrent file is says Stalled. It never advances beyond this status.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Qbittorrent. Checked that I have the latest version. Checked both my firewall and Malwarebytes settings. Tried using with VPN off and on. Nothing helps.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I haven't been able to grab any torrents here for several months.

I prefer to use Tixati and I have never had any problems on any site downloading.

Thanks so much for the link Tixati, I'll try it.
I use Vuze/BiglyBT, download works fine, since the last update no one can upload after I've finished the download.
Then all torrents are always marked "blue", anyway, I'm very curious if it works now.

Ok Guys, Ive JUST statred having the same problem as OP (Homebrew) but nearly 2 years later. I recently updated Qbittorent to V4.6.3, and it appeared to be working fine until a couple of days ago.

I tried downloading the latest 1974.09.07 LA show from the BowieStation tracker, but although it is being seeded, my Qbittorrent just stalls. I tried a few other shows from the tracker and get the same 'stalled' result. I tried PM's sugestion at force Start but that hasnt helped

Thing is that Qbittorrent is working fine with other trackers RUtracker, PBay etc but just stalls when I try to download ANYTHING from BowieStation.

Ive tried un-installing, re-installing latest and older versions of Qbittorrent but still stalls on stuff from here.

Is there any probs with the BowieStation server?

Any help would be much appreciated.

qBittorrent v4.6.3 (64-bit) for me and the new LA 74 worked fine.

Downloaded in about 45 seconds so no issues at all here.
That doesn't help of course, but it does confirm something I guess.

No code changes has been done to the tracker for years, and at the moment 4 other seeders are using the same version to seed, qBittorrent/4.6.3.

Looks like your problem is on your side in some way.
Which operating system do you use? Have there been any system updates lately?
Maybe some Firewall issues? I guess that the ISP is not the problem since you can access the website and the tracker uses the same IP.

I have never used qBittorrent myself, so I have very little support to offer for that client.

Update - So I tried the various suggestions from JE and PM but still couldnt get QBittorrent passed the 'stalled' error with torrents from the BowieStation tracker.

It's weird, that it was working fine for all private and public trackers but suddenly just stopped working for BowieStation for some reason, but still worked on others (RuTracker, Pirate Bay, Traders Den, Dime etc).

Anyway Ive installed Tixati, as CraigV suggested, and this is working OK now for BowieStation (and others). The interface is a wee bit more complex that Qbittorrent, but at least its working.

@ Homebrew and Besomdave

I am running Qbittorrent v4.6.3(64-bit) at the moment and all is well, It could be that your version was corrupted and needed to be completely uninstalled first then use a clean version after. Not that I am an expert in anyway but you did connect to other trackers. So I am probably blowing out my rear end. UTorrent may be an easier option.
