Getty Images are not free to download for anybody - you need a license, either per image or a general one and it is not cheap.

two possible ways. Getty occasionally change the position of the watermark. Download the pic, wait and hope for it to change, join the two. Second way is to download the pic with watermark, take a screenshot of the pic without watermark, overlay the watermark with a cut out part of the screenshot

success depends on where the watermark is on the pic, i've had success and failure trying. Good thing is Getty tend not to put the watermarks across the face, most image libraries do

@MEXMOD - If you 'save image as' (if using windows) the downloaded pic is NOT very high quality - certainly not good enough for a poster size.

I recently contected Getty images about a pic I wanted and they quoted a price of £130 for a single-use 'personal' licence!!!!**  :(

** single-use means they only allow you to PRINT the picture once. Dont know how that works, but it was too much for me anyway at that price.

What about a reverse image search of the watermarked image to find it in other places that won't have the Getty watermark nor the Getty restrictions? (Different reverse image search tools use different algorithms and will produce different results)
