I picked up the 4 disc fan compilation, but there are 2 tracks I am having issues with.
CD3, track 01 - will not rip, all I get is a sync error.
It claims to be 'Nite Flights from Los Angeles 1993' - but AFAIK there were no shows in 1993 so it must be a TV appearance. Can anyone help identify the source please?

Also, CD2 has 'Moonage Daydream from UK 1996' - this must be the Phoenix Festival, yes?  If so then why is it not listed as Stratford, like Aladdin Sane is. I will check my copies of the 1996 Phoenix Festival show and see.

The other incorrectly labelled one has to be the wrong year - it states 'Fantastic Voyage from Dublin 2004', yet AFAIK all the 2004 shows were US & Europe - were there any at Dublin? Should it really be 2003?

I have not checked these yet, and will try that tomorrow (I cannot be bothered at this time of day as I am freezing and just want to get a glass of single malt down my neck, maybe half the bottle.....) so if anyone has any ideas that would be great - especially the 1993 one, which I feel must be an incorrect year.

I have found the mystery Nite Flights - it was done on the Tonight Show in 1993, so odds are this is the version included. Will confirm this tomorrow (if the CD plays in the bootleg set, that is)

- Rock 'n' Roll Suicide (Tokyo 1990) is Philly 74 (David Live version)
- Bang Bang (Berlin 1997) is the NLMD studio version
- Bus Stop (Paris 1995) is 1989

Not that surprised, really.
The Buenos Aires thing is from an FM recording that probably went to cassette tape. I'll check against my other versions of this show.
Rock 'n' Roll Suicide I have already edited the details in my files now
Bang Bang I had not spotted.
Bus Stop was obviously not 1995 as that was the Outside tour, whereas this one was Tin Machine of course.

Keep the nit picking coming - damned bootleggers can't get anything right!
(but we still love them for making some of this stuff available)

Okay. 'Modern Love' from BA is much too long - it runs at 4:40 on this set, where it runs at only 4:22 or 4:23 on my other copies. I have swapped this out now. Good call, and I reckon the version here was extracted from the DVD, which would have been at 48kHz so would run slow when played out at 44.1kHz for CD.

Bang Bang is also now swapped out for the proper Berlin '87 version too.
(A PM with an email address will get you both these swapped out versions)

Was 'Bus Stop' played at La Cigale?
It's not on my broadcast or official versions.
It's not the one from Boston Orpheum or Tokyo either, and that is all I can offer.

Found Bus Stop.
It's actually 'Country Bus Stop' and it is from the 'Tin Machine EP' so is yet another official track. See https://www.discogs.com/Tin-Machine-Tin-Machine/release/9613837
It's the Digital Download version, which carried the extra track (in this case the one in question) but I cannot seem to find where it was actually recorded.
Anyone got any ideas?
