During the past century I listened to a lot of recordings of the Glass Spider tour. I was familiar with the guitar intro but couldn't place it, until a hard rock fan came along and told me it was a cover of Eruption by Van Halen.

Interesting never knew that. It's not a note for note cover, but it sure has some key elements of Eruption. That tapping sure is a clear reference. Who knew Carlos listens to Van Halen.
