Everyone [It’s that time again]

It that’s time again we need donations to keep the site running, the last time we asked for donations was 23-08-2019
and thanks to all members that have donated in the past, but the balance on the sites account is getting low.

Here is a list of all donations received. All donations have been spent on server cost.

We currently have enough funds to keep the site running until end of June therefore we need to ask for donations to keep the site running.

Since November 2015 BowieStation has been on paid servers. The current server cost is still around $98 a month. When you consider it we have done really well over the years and have only had to ask for donations once a year till 2019 now it’s nearly 2 year’s since the last request where other sites are asking every month and are struggling to keep those sites alive we are not [at the moment]

The site needs updating but at the moment Jan Erik is not well enough to do any of this work so be patient. Maybe when he reads this he may give us an update.

DONATION UPDATE......

Many thanks to all who have donated it is much appreciated.

I am a bit under whelmed really this post has had 630 views with only 21 members donating many of whom who have donated previously.

Over 14,000 members many who just register for the fun of it but many serious Bowie collectors and those who just take take take with out giving any thing back to the site.

There are many members here who have downloaded over 1TB [some 2TB] of torrents with a share ratio of ZERO.

And all you bootleggers [Wardour/Uxbridge to name a few labels] who take the efforts of our members work to make a fortune. It's not good enough.

Sounds like a great idea but needs to be looked in to.

Don't get me wrong the 21 who have donated have raised quite a bit but as I say the amount of members & views on this topic are laughable as to the donations and many of the 21 have donated previously.
