Upon comparing the 11 17 radio broadcast with the audience recording i found loads of differences, some of them are probably due to studio overdubbing/flying in parts from other shows, others are clearly 100% from different shows.

Teenage Wildlife on the 1995 11 17 FM and AUD seem to be 2 different performances. Either one of the 2 is misdated or they used more than one show in assembling the broadcast.

Bowie sang a couple of unique phrasings that night which DO appear on both sources, but everything else is different (hell, i'm not sure he didn't rerecord those as well, the audience source's sound quality makes it a bit difficult to tell at times).

Here's what i found, including a couple of identifiers:

Look Back In Anger (this one is definitely from 11 17): it's time that we were going (phrasing on aud and broadcast)<> it's time we should be going (usual phrasing)
The Man Who Sold The World (here the glaring differences start, Reeves' solo is different and Bowie's phrasing is a bit rougher on the audience tape): i stared into his eyes (phrasing used on aud and broadcast)<> i spoke into his eyes (usual phrasing)
Strangers When We Meet (seems to be the real deal)
Hallo Spaceboy (see above)
We Prick You (see above)
Teenage Wildlife (i'm not convinced that this one is even from 11 17, the differences seem to go beyond guitar and vocals): here NOTHING matches up with the audience, Reeves screws up on the audience tape and Bowie's vocal is completely different, also the overall performance is tighter on the broadcast) How come you, you only want tomorrow (audience) <> So how come you only want tomorrow (radio)

I listened to those parts on the 11 18 video (couldn't find the audio on here) and i don't think they're the same performance. I checked the other shows at Wembley too and those too don't match the broadcast.

Teenage Wildlife could be assembled from previous recorded or even rehearsal recordings. During the Outside tour all songs (except White Light, Boys Keep Swinging, DJ and I think Diamond Dogs) made use of sequencers+ sampler and click track. Which means they could easily switch parts and remix the track. That's not unusually, he also remixed the Paradiso Broadcast, the Dutch radiostation was not allowed to broadcast the rough recording.

It's entirely possible.

So basically we should just go with the audience tapes since those are not tampered with?
