I am making a compilation DVD-Audio disc of the complete BLA series, and need artwork please.
My scanner cannot handle vinyl sizes, and my 6 CD are still sealed so if anyone can help out with getting artwork scans to me in a resolution of at least 300DPI as either PNG, TIF or BMP that would be absolutely fantastic and would get you an ISO of the project when completed.
The only caveat is that this will require a DVD-Audio capable player to play it. It will *not* work on a player that does not have this capability as there is insufficient space for a compatible VIDEO_TS folder in addition to not having enough tracks to do this even if there was space.
This is because the biggest limitation of DVD-Audio is the 99 track one - you simply cannot add more than 99 tracks, and the complete series is 89 tracks with 6 extra 'dummy' tracks (one at the end of each group) so you can exit to the menu system whilst playing a group.
Additionally, if I did add a Video_TS then all tracks must be accessible from the Audio Manager, which would then give me an unworkable 184 tracks over 12 groups - and there is also a 9 group limitation. I guess the developers of DVD Working Group 4 never considered the idea of a 'Box Set on a single disc' as something anyone in their right minds would try to do. I'm not going any deeper into that one, either - let's just take it as read I am probably not in my right mind & leave it at that.

Why am I doing this?
A couple of reasons...
1 - The last 2 shows from the 'Small Clubs Tour' are butchered and I have better versions available with all the between song chat intact (the Virgin in-house demos).
2 - I can correct the screwup on the KKK show (BLA6) by using the right version of 'Life On Mars?'
3 - Because I really, really want to.

So what do I need then?
Ideally, high resolution scans of the front & rear of either the vinyl sets or the CD sets please.
Minimum of 300DPI, 600DPI even better.
These will be used to create a set of 6 menu pages with full tracklists, and additionally an 'embedded' tracklist for each of the 6 groups - this will allow the user to browse the tracklist without interrupting music playback - something not possible in DVD-Video unless you use 'Buttons Over Video' which is unreliable at best & only optionally supported in most players (for 'optionally supported' read 'not available on most')

Also - if anyone would like to suggest any other 'box set on a disc' projects please suggest away within the following limitations:
1. A maximum of 9 playlists/shows
2. A maximum of 99 tracks across all playlists, minus one per playlist for the exit 'dummy' track (otherwise you cannot exit to the menu system until the final track has played out)

Thank you in advance

There will most likely be some good photos/scans on Illustrated db, not sure of resolution, but usually the best ones around.

I'd forgotten about the illustrated discography - appreciate the tip.

I'm also very interested in knowing what typefaces/fonts were used for the following, because I need to reconstruct things in a slightly different manner for the project:
1 - The font used on the recent Parlophone Disc prints ('Bowie' logo)
2 - Typefaces used on David Live, Cracked Actor & The Soul Tour.

Thanks again.
