Mine arrived today, and listening to it for the first time, sensational and what joy to hear an unaltered version flutes and all.

Hi, I've just joined Bowiestation (which is brilliant, thank you). I've been collecting Bowie records since about 1975. I bought the original "His Master's Voice" bootleg in the 70s but having read this old post, it seems there is a complete playlist for the "final" Ziggy concert out there somewhere. Would someone please point me in the right direction to get a copy?

I bougth the concert from Robin many years ago. Not only is this a brilliant recording and a piece of music history. He also sent a personal leter with the CDs, which I will keep for the rest of my life.

i wonder of Robin has soundboard  of the previous night ,  I was at that performance and would be interesting  to compare the 2 . I dont remember if it was filmed  was so long ago  but you would think they wouldnt have left it to chance by only filming one night

IIRC he used the same tape every night, always taping over the previous show, which is why this is the only board tape.

ah thanks , what a shame. so much history  , not just this , just got wiped or taped over ; i used to go to a junk shop on fulham road where  the dust bin men used to offload bits and pieces .They used to have boxes of cassette and reel to reel tapes   taken from the bins of the  local studios  ,  & record companies  Demos , rough mixes , pre releases .Picked up  some interesting  tapes only to now have thrown them out myself!! At times I wish I was like some of these  people on the TV where people go in & rummage thru  their  (shed) out buildings , barns  etc to make some money but never been in a position to  have my own garage  let alone outbuildings & barns where i could have stored all my old stuff instead of throwing it away  just to make some space  !!
