Never really thought about it before.
It should be the same speed as the STAGE album, surely.
I'll check - thanks for the tip.

A possible reason is that with analogue tape there is no crystal locking and as a result no 2 machines play out at quite the same speed - you can see this with various different 'remasters' of albums like Ziggy, where it is impossible to sync 2 different remasters that align - the original nd of the song1/4" tape runs at a different rate to the 40th anniversary remaster (cannot recall if it is fast or slow off the top of my head, but whatever track you align the first note of will have drifted noticeably off sync by the song.
I'll assemble a project with various versions to show you all what I mean

The idea of "get it first time" is a forgotten tenet in the recording industry these days.

Why bother? Another way to sell it over and over again.  :)

The vinyl is slow, there were some people online that were sugesting how much slower it was, so one could fix it themselfs, I could not figure out how to do it, and I would love a fixed rip or the download if the download was fixed. But I don't feel like paying for it again, having bought the Lp, when The Brooklyn exhibition were selling online so I could have it shipped to Denmark.
