The second version is from an Uxbridge 3xCD-R release, no text file, supposedly from a DAT master.

Quality-wise, the 100PCB show is very good but I am not convinced it's a genuine soundboard as the audience is just too loud in comparison.
The Uxbridge could easily be a soundboard - it has the hallmarks (little FX, quiet audience, drums/bass/keyboards/vocals heavier than guitars)

I'll send them all over to Steve

Didn't know about the uxbridge.
But as a specialist in listening to and collecting audience recordings from that tour, I can assure you that both the 9/22 recordings are audience tapes. The 100% in closer and in the crowd, the 2nd source is from the front of the balcony. Both are nice, just different.

So morning radio show on 9/22, the Panic boot includes one from a different date.

Definitely NOT from YouTube.
This is from the radio show.
I try to avoid this as a 'source' because the audio is always crappy AAC-LC, often at minimal bitrate. I know we always take our chances even with CD boots as you never really know what they were made from until you get them & analyze them, by which time of course it is always too late. I've bought (often at high prices) content that turns out to be MPEG source, or AAC source, or claimed as a soundboard when it's an audience recording. This is the problem with bootlegs - you never know what you are getting.
Even radio recordings are often lossy sources, as with DAB radio it's ALL lossy. FM had it's limitations - usually in terms of frequency response, but often dodgy quality but when it was done well it sounded far superior to DAB. There are exceptions. Just not many of them.

the radio tape of 3 songs of  Arbatax, Sicily 1997 07 11 is not recorded there, the songs were taken form the amsterdam gig 10 june 1997....

detroit 22 september is a radio show for whyt radio (96.3 FM), Fisher building (accoustic songs)
Montreal 25 september is a radio show CHOM FM (Live Studio 1) : songs always crashing, scary, dead man

I checked they are not here on BS.... hope somebody can upload them?

I've double checked, yep not here, I don't have them either!

I did get my fill listening through all the sessions a couple of years back (perhaps more), but most of them are an interesting listen - would be nice to hear more, and someone somewhere in Detroit and someone in Montreal will have taped these!

I don't think all Earthling shows were recorded. Back in 1998 when Bowienet launched you had that Live And  Well section. It stated which shows were recorded. I think it was about 8 shows. Lots of obvious ones already partially appeared like Amsterdam, GQ and Phoenix Festival. If anyone still has that original Live And Well cd that B-net issued it should have the website on it too with all the information.

thank you .. i thought the berlin 1987 spider was an exception. Althou it has been said that all shows from 1978 on have been taped. it be nice to see more of these soundboard full stage view shows..

Maybe my memory is getting hazy, but doesn't it have an enhanced section on the bonus cd with the entire site on it. There should be a page on it with information on which shows were recorded and the setlists of those show. But Maybe that was only used on the actual website and not on the copy thats on live and well
