Having just listened to the track " I Gotta Get A Job" on the Wardour Kingston Poly concert for the first time I might add, I am now curious as to how this track came about and it's origins. It's quite a dance to track and why it never made an album. I quite like it.
Is this the only recording and was it ever played again......

It was written by James Brown, and sung by a female singer when it was released - like Serge Gainsbourg he did some writing and farming out of songs to other artistes.

It was played at Hemel Hempstead around that time, and I guess probably other concerts that might not have been taped (unless people with very good memories of each concert pipe up, we're not that likely to know about untaped shows it was played at...).
