The 50th anniversary of the Rocky Horror Picture Show is coming*. The big plan hatched by music producer Lou Adler was to introduce the runaway hit stage show The Rocky Horror Show on Broadway and the movie version shortly after.

I have a bootleg of the 1975 Broadway production at the Belasco Theatre. Would this be allowed on the site?

There is a David Bowie connection to the movie... actually three of them. Tim Curry who played Frank 'N Furter credits Angie Bowie for being one of the first movie audience members to shout at the screen. Angie and Bowie were at a screening of the movie (he also attended at least one of the stage performances in London) at which Curry was also in attendance. According to Tim when his character was about to be killed Angie shouted "No, No, Don't do it!".

The make up artist, Pierre La Roche, who did much of the make up for the characters in the movie also is credited for designing Bowie's famous lightning bolt.

And lastly there was much debate and discussion on the Usenet discussion boards about whether David Bowie was the one who sang for Peter Hinwood who played the title character, Rocky Horror. He wasn't by the way.


Lastly, I haven't created a torrent since the Mindwarp Pavilion days. That site had a how-to section that I followed and now I need a refresher course. If this is allowed can someone walk me through the steps.

Not sure it deserves an upload as a torrent, but we have no issue with you putting up a link to a transfer of it.

Swiss transfer is a free service for files as big as 50GB and they stay up for a month.
