A few years ago on either Mindwarp or Hunger City I downloaded a torrent that had a different take or mix of When I Live My Dream. What made this version different was that there was a piece of metal being struck at the end of each line. It was a pretty great effect for the song and made a great song even better (to my ears). Problem is I lost the cdr I made of the download in my car accident a few years back and I have never been able to find that version of the song again. Does this sound at all familiar to anybody on here and if it does and you have either that download (or even just the song itself with the clanging metal) could you please upload it? Thanks.

I didn't get to download this song, something about "may be for sale on iTunes" or something, but I think it's the version from the "Starman In Session" torrent.

I haven't checked if that torrent has been shared here as yet.

I'll check but this is probably an official release.
In my 2CD of the Deram release there are 4 versions:
1 - Original Mono
2 - Original Stereo
3 - Single Mix
4 - version from BBC session "Top Gear", recorded at Piccadilly No. 1, London on 18 December 1967 (along with Love You Till Tuesday, Little Bombardier, Silly Boy Blue & In The Heat Of The Morning)
These tracks are also on the "Lost BBC Tapes" boot by Godfather Records in a different "remastered" form.....typical really.

I think it is the latter version you are looking for so check for "The Lost BBC Tapes", as I cannot upload the Deram version here
