I've been a Bowie fan for about 35 years now. I'm very glad to have found this community. I am a long time taper and trader, but only had a modest collection of DB shows - highlights like the BBC, the 50th birthday etc.

I see all of the shows on the tracker in the seventies in particular, and am overwhelmed where to start. Especially in the 74 - 78 era.

In your opinion what are the best classic shows to get from a quality, performance and rarities standard? All eras both early and late included?

It is great that you made it to BS.

As a first thing you can have a look at the shows which are presented in the Radio section.
We have chosen them because these are fine shows with a very good to excellent sound.

Do you not remember MWP's "Bowie Challenge" from back in June or July 2011? That was the "Guess the titles of these 10 Bowie songs from these live recordings that no one can hear or understand" challenge. Trust me, once you've heard those recordings, they're not all "great"! :-)
