You can really tell that this guy is the exact same guy you here playing on that 'Bowpromo1'

Here is Rick playing another great tune in tribute to David from... the number #1 ranked Bowie album on my list anyway. I really can't see myself ever ranking another higher. because this one meant so much to me back then, through all the years... and to this day.

Plays it much too fast though & I agree my favourite album off all time & the one I look to when i'm down.

It sure did make me cry... along with lots of other stuff  :( . It's almost a month ogo now since he passed... and still everyday there's something that gets me all teared up. I'm on facebook, so you get the messages that everyone shares...all the groups and pages and all that... but I use it as therapy  :) and it really helps. Just like listening to Blackstar, the lyrics that completely overwhelm me ...so I'm sitting there with a snotty nose crying my eyes out, frustrated as hell... (why didn't we know?!) but at the same time realizing, This is SO Bowie, This is SO exactly what makes him the unique artist/character/person, BOWIE, that we love so much...This is Art to the max, and dying the way he did, and wanting no blahblah at the end... I can only respect him more for that  :love  I will love and honour him forever ...he will never really die...


Mainstream....I just don't want it in my life!

the first cd ever in our household was a bowie cd. the 3rd or 4th vinyl i owned was bowie as well.
he's always been there, in good times and in bad times. why couldnt they transplant his liver?
he really should have had 10 more years to see his daughter grow up, not fair...

... struggling to listen to Blackstar just yet ... need to be alone and sitting in our sunroom in the dark without any noise/distractions ... I can see the night sky and stars ... through the reams of tears
