I have heard that Rolling Stone was coming out with a special David Bowie tribute issue.

Time Magazine did as well, and I got the Time Magazine one - but have not been able to find the Bowie rolling stone anywhere.

I was able to download a copy in Spanish from the binary newsgroups, but I really want the english version - I'm looking to buy it and keep it, but if there is an online version anywhere I'd be interested in that.

I don't even see info about it at Rollingstone.com  

Did this come out in the US and did anyone actually get a copy?

Also UNCUT March edition is a tribute edition which is already available in UK & USA I've got to wait till end of March before arrives here in NZ

BIG shout for another current mag produced by Uncut, 'The History Of Rock', compiled from the NME & MM archives. Never noticed it before, but grabbed it the other day cos DB's on the cover. There's been an issue for each year since 1965, and this month it's 1972, with significant DB content.

Only flicked through it so far, but since 72 is the year I started buying records, it's extra special for me; all the glam bands I was into at the time, plus most of the heavier stuff I got into later. Fascinating to read contemporaneous reports & opinions on them, and amusing to see how badly wrong journos often got it, with the power of hindsight. Strongly recommended    :)

I too would love the Uncut stuff - sometimes they have really good stuff, and I always think of Bowie with Uncut because of that pic of him walking around NYC holding one.
