Please do forgive me mods if this goes against any rules, but I wanted to just share this memorial mix I made not too long ago for anyone who may have missed it. My little labor of love with some of my favorite Bowie songs, completely gapless with some unique edits and remixes as well. Also, please forgive the "Absolute Beginners" remix as it's not exactly what I hoped to achieve, but until the isolated vocal track is readily made available, it's the best I can do. I've just finished listening to this. Not bad at all L90.

Two gripes: -

Don't know where you grabbed Lazarus from but the volume is overloaded compared to the rest of disk 1

&

There are volume fluctuations (to my ears) through some songs when wearing headphones.



Other than that I could listen to this often!

I didn't have the album on CD at the time so the audio for "Lazarus" came straight from the official YouTube audio upload. And yes, there's some volume levels that definitely need to be adjusted at some point (like "Dirty Boys";) but I'm still praying for the day that an actual isolated vocal track for "Absolute Beginners" turns up so I do that remix right and then maybe fix the rest of this

I've just had another go at this and noticed a few "easter eggs". I had to listen closely - nice touch.

Sounds great! Is there a way of downloading these? Mixcloud doesn't seem to allow this.

You're being far too kind, but thanks. I've actually replaced that on the new version, still in progress, with a "new edit" I've made from the dub mix and full length version. I've just been very unhappy with that remix in all my recent listens. New reworkings to come on version 2.5 though!
