Hi all!

I still decided to try download a torrent (never done this before).

So I tried to download utorrent. And with this my problems began.

I don't know why but I can't install utorrent. I got the error message that not all files were copied. I also tried it with vuze and bittorrent and it has the same result.

Now I found an add-on for Firefox called Torrent Tornado. This should work. But I still have the problem that I can't download a torrent from this site.

Is it possible to download the torrents from this site with the FF add-on? Does someone do it with it? It seems that this is the only possibility for me.

I'm grateful for every help I can get.

First it looks like you might have some other problems with your computer. Does it act strange in some other way?

I would suggest a virus scan and a scan for malware.

A good free online virus scanner is here:

My preferred anti malware program is here:
https://www.malwarebytes.org/

I took a quick look at the Firefox add-on, and it looks like that you can only leech with it and not seed back. That can of client is probably blocked by the tracker (if not, it should be).

I can install everything except the torrent programs. I don'T have any problems with my computer and also no virus on it.

Is there another possibility to download torrents?

btw: It says I have no rights to access the guides page

It sounds quite strange. There should be no difference in installing torrent programs than other programs unless you have an antivirus program that look at all torrent programs as a security risk...

You can try this portable version:
http://portableapps.com/news/2011-03-25_-_utorrent_portable_2.2.1.25130_released

Edit: looks like that leads you to the latest version. The suggested version can be found here:
https://utorrent-portable.en.uptodown.com/old

This is a version you don't need to install, only copy the files.
This version, 2.2.1, is the suggested version to use on this site and many other torrent sites. Later versions might cause a lot of strange problems.

You should also now have access to the guides page. It is not yet included in the menus since it still need some work, but you have the info needed there.
