A good friend has asked me if there is a recording of any of the sets performed by the band "The Beat" on the Serious Moonlight Tour. Any help would be appreciated.

I recorded Bowie on the second, but didn't bother with either of the supports (tape was precious in those days!).  The Beat were excellent - played a greatest hits set that got everybody into the right mood (unlike UB40 in Rotterdam the week before, who played a whole load of stuff from their latest album, and sent many of us to sleep...).

Sure to be out there, I would have thought.
