We saw Nile Rogers and Chic at Newmarket Racecourse today.  Lots of very drunken Hoorays dancing, but great set (nothing but crowdpleasers) and atmosphere (even though it was still light).

Two Bowie songs (I expected Let's Dance, hadn't expected Modern Love).  Bit rude and crude, and I need to work on the bass crunch on Let's Dance, but for anyone who wants to hear them, they're on WeTransfer for the next week:

I saw him in Glasgow live and if I heard the 'new single' once more.....
The DJ before them played it and then it was played in full before the video of it.
They did it live and once more for luck, it blasted out after the show.
He spoke like "Oh Wow you guys know this one",....A Lot.
Nothing from any Chic albums apart from The Greatest Hits.
The women who sang on the originals are all still alive.
He was his own tribute act.
The show started later than billed 'coz this line of people appeared from nowhere and were queing up to go backstage before it began.
"My Husband bought me a meet-and-greet package.", one woman said very proudly when I asked what they were doing.
£150 a go !
