No idea surfling.  As I said above, someone provided a link when the disc emerged and I've just reloaded it.  It would be disappointing if an official release were at the wrong speed, but I guess it's possible that the deck used for the transfer could be running slowly - can't say.  TBH, I've only listened to it once!

Well, a few people on Discogs are suggesting as much, and the recording sure sounds strange to my ears for an official release - like they used a straight cassette transfer without any additional corrections...?

We had a speed-cx'd one floating around here when it came out. I'll look around and see if I can find it.
