I was in a local shop yesterday late afternoon and they still had both had numerous copies of Bowie 2022 RSD releases, so I guess they weren't great sellers.

I've seen both listed online (albeit not both at the same time). Unfortunately skint, but I want them both! Will have to get them off Discogs or some such later on...

The CD's sold out pretty quick I believe.
The vinyl .. not so.
Kind of shows you that, CDs aren't as dead, as they'd like you to believe.

I must say I'm really happy with the Outside era RSD. Both the Piano tracks and the two early/alt mixes are very interesting. The chorus of Johnny Downloader reminds me a bit of Girl Loves me. I truly hope one day we'll get a collectors edition of Outside with these kind of early versions of tracks. And following that alt tracklist in BA there are more tracks like Goodbye Mr Ed that are still unheard. I think Garson one time mentioned that even Disco King was worked on a bit during the Outside sessions.

Maybe these RSDs and also Is It Any Wonder show a workable way of releasing rarities of the less popular era. Instead of big boxsets that probably won't appeal to a big audience just spread the content over a couple of EPs. I think I wouldn't mind that. I only know I want to hear more things of this era. One can only hope!
