Can anyone shine some light on why there are 2 different versions of wild eyed boy. towards the end of the track one has his vocals going low the other high?

there are rerecorded vocals, guitars, additional instruments that weren't there before throughout the official mixes. The 2003 mix has less overdubs (but they're still ever-present, just toned-down).
