Looks like they've been sued by Sony back in 2009 so it does appear that at least some of their releases were 'hooky'... ;)

Yes, there Iggy Pop Live In San Francisco 1981, which appears to be a re-issue from a French label called Revenge Records which has a lot of Iggy and Stooges material and might be official ?

Perhaps but all the "official" albums Iggy / Stooges have released have been on either Columbia, Fat Possum, Elektra, BOMP!, RCA, Virgin, A&M or Arista. I can't find anything that's defined as "official" being released on this label but they have released (as you say) a couple of Stooges plus Iggy live LP's so I'd say they are probably in a grey area. Possibly bootlegged but too small to be an issue for the bigger companies.
