There was a rumour / article I read somewhere or was told that a guy who worked at this venue used to record all concerts which included this Bowie concert, and a tape does exist but I have never seen or heard it or know anyone who has it.

I will do some research in old e-mails to see what I can find. May take some time but I will come back to this topic.

Found this in my old e-mails, this supposedly came from a thread in Traders Den.  Not sure by who.

Yes Bowie show In Blackburn 31 may 73 was recorded as I was next to the
person who recorded it & the soundcheck I did have a copy till the late 70s
when it was stolen I did trade it with a few people before it was stolen
but ive never come across it since.

There is also a video of the full show it was done from the balcony of
the king georges by one of the staff ( from the back of the balcony inside
a small room that had a opening looking towards the stage I think
the room was used when they used to show films there in the early 60s )
He videod a lot of show there from 1968-1976 I think they where on the
umax video system.
I remember bits of it being shown in a pub in the 70s when they had a
glam rock night I asked about getting a copy but got told no as he only
keeps the recordings for himself and close friends ive never seen a copy
or any of the shows he videod in circulation but I have heard some are
now in circulation hoping one day the Bowie one will surface as well as
the show he did in 1969 or early 1970 at the same venue there is a rumour
an audio exists of that but ive never seen it or anyone that has heard it.
