Greetings dear David Bowie followers! Thank you very much for accepting me and allowing me to be a part of your wonderful community! Long-time admirer of our Thin White Duke here (favorite track: After Today, second close favorite got to be Shilling the Rubes from the Drexel archives, I've been collecting a lot of Bowie vinyls since the late 90's/early 2000's).

My name is Yan Eden and I really wanted to share this very personal animated project o'mine with you (it encapsulates my love for the pre-Duke/Berlin era of David Bowie, including certain video/audio segments dedicated to Nic Roeg's The Man Who Fell to Earth & The Thin White Duke incarnation, as well as many other mediums that showed us what how David Bowie's artistic image influenced the character of the Joker in the world of comics and other mediums, as described by such acclaimed comic book writers as Frank Miller and Grant Morrison) that includes an original script, great new vocal performances from such acting talents as Jay Nelson & Mark Hamill himself (the O.G. Joker from Batman: The Animated Series).

Mr. Hamill recently had a chance to meet Mr. Jared Leto (whose take on the Joker in Suicide Squad was very much influenced by David's mannerisms and gestures in the 1970s: i.imgur.com/3jA336I.jpg

Took me a long time to accomplish it, but it's so worth it - it's about the essence of the Joker and how he transcends our perception of him at one moment in time or another. Just like David himself, the Joker constantly reinvents himself and puts a new face every time he reappears (special thanks goes to Helen Green for creating a magnificent gif of Bowie's evolution in action).

It's like a classic radio show mixed with beautiful animation. I wish, I could've put more emphasis on the importance of Mr. Bowie's contribution to the world of the Joker, but there are way too many legal restrictions on YouTube and just not enough retro footage of the Duke in action (especially circa 1976, if you don't count the famous Vancouver rehearsal clips).

Anyway, hope you enjoy it, guys! And like David himself once stated: "Such is the stuff from where dreams are woven..."

We (myself, Mr. Nelson, Mr. Hamill) worked like crazy to deliver the finest creative and artistic project about the Joker that we could (while all the editing, writing, directing and producing is on me). After all, my programme's name is Observation of Creative Souls (and I believe that both David and The Joker fit very naturally within this criteria).

What I tried to create is an accessible smart satire about how one character (almost like David Jones, not David Bowie) can transcend all of the rumors, questions, confusions and other gossips about one of his older personalities (let's say, Ziggy), and how his true SELF (David Jones; in our case, the Joker with almost 77 years of history behind him) is more important than anything else that might be stated or speculated by many other countless people online in regards to certain changes or shifts in his life.

Having a go at so many incarnations of one single character (almost like many of David's marvelous and mysterious personalities, be it Pierrot or Halloween Jack), including the Thin White Duke-inspired version of the Joker (not to mention using certain clips from Nic Roeg's The Man Who Fell To Earth, felt only natural to me, since Bowie always was influential to so many people, including Grant Morrison and Jared Leto respectively).
