Around 1:36:00 there is a glitch in the middle of 'every says hi' and the video continues from the middle of 'hallo spaceboy'. All the youtube videos from the concert as well as the torrent here suffers from this problem. Does anyone have a lower generation file without this problem?

My thoughts
It most likely comes from the video master tape, and there may have been a change of tape?

But isn’t the Bowstat CD version of the concert supposed to come from a VHS tape of the show.  That has the bits that are missing from the video.

I've just checked the original mp4 files that I believe were uploaded first and this also have the cuts in the 2 tracks, so maybe the complete audio is from a different source?

Yes. The audio is complete. I don't think the missing part of the video can be the result of changing tapes as the show was filmed professionnsky with several cameras. I believe there must be a low geberation version out there somewhere without this problem.

Hi,

I recently bought this Japanese Blue-ray release of the concert: https://www.discogs.com/de/David-Bowie-Montreux-Jazz-Festival-2002/release/10194362

On "Everyone Says" the audio is complete, also the video, BUT: the second half of the video for this track is combined out of footage from the rest of the concert. They did a nice job on it, but you can see that it’s not 100 % lip-synched.

Unfortunately I have no possibility to rip from Blu-ray, so I can't share it here.

Yeah - I know the versions you mean & even tried to buy these on Discogs when they still allowed bootleg sales but the guy refused to sell to me at all - under any circumstances.
