I thought I would start a new topic so this is a follow on to the topic here.

So donations started coming in over a 3 day period and thanks to all those who kindly donated all 14 of you, some of you also donated last time I will add Many thanks and much appreciated.

It seems the other say 5000 'genuine members' are not interested in helping the site to continue, so I did a little bit of analysis on the people who download torrents. I choose 7 torrents that have completed over 100 times some over 200 times and all still on the first page of the site.

Analysis
1179 downloads over the seven shows.
There were a total of 423 different members downloaded these shows.

36 members have downlaoded all 7 torrents including our industrious administrator 'Lord Jan Erik Lucan' fair play he's probobly got his client set up to download everything that goes up. [That is the only name I am going to mention by the way, just in case he's reading this]

23 members have downloaded 6 torrents
58 have downloaded 5 torrents
39 have downloaded 4 torrents

Thats 157 members out of the 423 and only 14 people have donated I personally think that is horendous, if another 50 of those members would dontae £10.00 to the site we would be on course for 12 months with no more asking for donations.

Donations update.

Another generous donation from member 'nth' of $130.00 many thanks to Neil for that.

Donations are going very well but still  a few more before the end of the month would go a long way to not asking for at least a year.

Further to other comments about donations if anyone is in doubt all you have to do is PM myself and I will send on details. And it's paypal only.

Just to explain why the donations go to a paypal in my name, when we set up the site we needed an account to pay for servers etc, I took the reigns and with the help of Jan Erik when he was active, set it all up and paid for the set up. I had an e-mail address set up that was only used for my IP so I set up a paypal account with it just to use for BowieStation. Jan Erik and myself only have access to this account obviously JE is not about so I may have to look at other admin to have access.

Thanks again for all the donations that we have received.

And by the way I'll put a seperate post up as well, we have been donated over 400 Bowie VHS video tapes a lot of work to go thru hopefully I'll find some new gems or even upgrades but it's a lot of work

So we have had a great response from our members still what gets me is the members who offer to donate get the details then don't bother.

Nice to see the radio working if not on all browsers I know there is a problem with chrome which I normally use but works with the 'microsoft edge'
