The mystery over the 3 concerts in Boston on the 14 ,15 & 16 Nov 74
Most sources say that on the 15th show Bowie starts Changes but the stops and performs Panic in Detroit but the only recordings of this incident appear on the I'm Only Dancing and Soul in Boston CDs which only capture 10 songs from this show  , if this is correct it means all the other recordings of the 15th shows are incorrect , but to add to the confusion  all the 15th recordings feature Bowie saying "see you tomorrow" at the end of the 15th show which means they cannot be the 16th the last night in Boston.
Is there any source that can prove on what night Bowie play accutaly performed Panic in Detroit in Boston in November 74 . ??

The key to establishing the correct dates is to verify on what date Bowie performed Panic in Detroit  , I've listened to all the shows and the dates are incorrect the 16 is the same as the 15 but if Bowie did perform Panic on the 15th then as I said all the other shows claiming to be from the 15th are incorrect

Yes that site also says Panic was on the 15th, but most of the recordings dated the 15th and recent bootleg vinyl releases dated the 15th do not have Panic in Detroit so they fore must be from the 14th or 16th shows

I've always worked on the belief/principle that the Plastic Soul silver (the Joe Maloney recording) is from the 14th, but usually mis-dated; and the half concert recording (the one I upped as 'I'm Only Dancing', as part of the HG Tapes) is the 15th.  I remember reading somewhere that Joe didn't write the date on his tape, and didn't keep the ticket stub, so didn't know which night he'd attended!

Never studied the recording circulated as the 16th in detail, as it's pretty flaky - but yes, had heard that it's simply a degraded version of the 14th.
